36 Champion Terriers of all types, from all 4 corners of the land entered the main showground ring to resounding applause from a large appreciable crowd.  Archie, Brave Rebellion at Chatmoss, being the only Border Terrier in the line up, went on to challenge right down to the final 12.  Being 20 months of age and the 2nd youngest terrier in the line up made it a grand achievement for him.

Royal Welsh Premier Open Show 16th May 2010

A lovely show set in beautiful surroundings with the sun shining most of the day.  Bearing in mind the recent subject in Our Dogs (14th May) regarding attending shows with Breed Specialists Judges, it was a great pity there were so few exhibitors entered / attending this show under Mike Hollingsbee.

Lily, Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss in her last show as a puppy was highly amused by the "feet tickling grass" and it showed in the way she waltzed, tangoed and shimmied in the ring, taking 3rd in Border Terrier Puppy and 3rd in AV Terrier Puppy.  Time to move up into Junior and beyond.  In the same class, Ruby, Rhozzum Virtue at Chatmoss has decided that showing isn`t all that taxing at all and took reserve then went on to take 2nd in AV Minor Puppy Bitch.

Archie, Brave Rebellion at Chatmoss took 3rd in Border Terrier Junior then went on to take 1st in AV Terrier Junior.

Lily, Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss took 2nd in all terriers puppy bitch.

Archie, Brave Rebellion at Chatmoss took 1st in Border Terrier Dog, Best Border Terrier and then went through to win Champion Terrier.  This win qualifies him for National Working Terrier Federation Champion of Champions 2010 held in August and also the Cock of the North Terrier Show 2010.

Red Rose Special Charity Open Show 3rd May 2010

A pleasure to enter this show as the proceeds go to charity.

Lily, Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss takes 1st in Junior out of a class of 6 and in doing so took BEST PUPPY IN BREED again, under Mr Gary Scobell, she then went on to take TERRIER PUPPY GROUP 2ND under Mr Leonnart Stahll from Sweden.

Archie, Brave Rebellion at Chatmoss took 2nd behind Lily.

Ashton-in-Makerfield Canine Society 1st May 2010

Prior to attending the JBTC show, most of the regular gang took off to support a local show at the specific request of the show secretary; hopefully with our support the show will be able to obtain a license for 2011.

Ruby, Rhozzum Virtue at Chatmoss took 2nd in puppy; in doing so beating Lily, Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss into 3rd.

Ruby, Rhozzum Virtue at Chatmoss then went on to take 2nd in Junior??...oops mixed up that entry then...

Lily, Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss took 1st in Junior thereby making her BEST PUPPY IN BREED and then she took  BEST OF BREED under Jane Morton-Shaw (Fehmarn); she went on to take TERRIER GROUP 3 AND TERRIER PUPPY GROUP 1 under Roy Brandon (Lornaville)

Archie, Brave Rebellion at Chatmoss took 2nd in Post Graduate.

Ruby, Rhozzum Virtue at Chatmoss took 3rd in Junior

Lily, Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss, took 2nd in Puppy losing out to our friend Emma`s lovely little bitch, Bryony.  In the same class, Ruby, Rhozzum Virtue at Chatmoss took her place in the line up gaining a Reserve certificate.

NATIONAL TERRIER CHAMP SHOW APRIL 2010

Archie, Brave Rebellion at Chatmoss, took his inaugural 1st place at a Champ Show with a well earned 1st in Graduate Dog.

Lily, Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss, took a creditable VHC in Puppy Bitch.

Ruby, Rhozzum Virtue at Chatmoss, took part in her first ever KC show at 6 months and 2 days, competing in a large Minor Puppy Bitch class and although she did us proud by behaving very well and showing herself off she did not make the line up on this occasion.

Lily, Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss, took BEST PUPPY IN BREED . Although Lily was not her usual self today, she did us proud with a positive performance throughout.  Unfortunately by the end of the day she had flagged slightly and was not placed in the Puppy Challenge by Variety & BIS Judge, Su Williams (Hollybridge).

THE BORDER TERRIER CLUB CHAMP SHOW MARCH 2010.

Archie, Brave Rebellion at Chatmoss took a creditable Reserve in Special Beginners Dog with a line up of 10 dogs. Having already qualified for Crufts 2011with Archie & Lily, we decided to try out the class system to see how things went.

Lily, Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss took a well deserved 2nd in Special Beginners Bitch, again in a line up of 10

What a great day we had with Archie, Brave Rebellion At Chatmoss.  Only ever seen Crufts on TV and we joked last year when we bought Archie that wouldn`t it be funny if we were to end up at Crufts.....hahaha, we did.

Although not placed, we are all very proud of him, he behaved really well and did himself and us no harm.

Very Well Done to all winners....!!

LIVERPOOL TERRIER CLUB 28TH FEB 2010

Another great day out.....Archie, Brave Rebellion at Chatmoss, took 1st in Post Graduate (9 entries) & 1st in Open (6 entries)....in doing so he took BEST OF BREED again today.

Lily, Foxthorn Texas Star At Chatmoss, took 3rd in Post Graduate, beating 6 other entrants most of which were adult dogs, in doing so she was the highest placed puppy therefore she took BEST PUPPY IN BREED again today.

We couldn`t get to The Border Terrier Club Open Show due Mrs L recovering from a planned operation so we stayed in the Northwest and what a good day it turned out to be all round.

Archie.....Brave Rebellion At Chatmoss took 1st in Junior, BEST OF BREED and TERRIER GROUP 3rd under Mrs C Parker.

Lily.....Foxthorn Texas Star At Chatmoss took 1st in Puppy, BEST PUPPY IN BREED, TERRIER PUPPY GROUP 1st under Mrs C Parker and BEST PUPPY IN SHOW under Mr G Griffiths, which qualifies her for CRUFTS 2011.

A good day today with Archie...Brave Rebellion At Chatmoss taking 1st in Graduate & 1st in Open, BEST OF BREED under Mr J Richardson and TERRIER GROUP 2nd under Mr Tom H Johnston.

Lily...Foxthorn Texas Star At Chatmoss also did very well today with 1st in Puppy & BEST PUPPY IN BREED under Mr J Richardson & TERRIER PUPPY GROUP 1st under Mr Tom H Johnston.  A long day waiting for Best Puppy in Show where she once again.....couldn`t be bothered showing off....little sod!!.....she`s great though.

Once again our new puppy bitch, Ruby....Rhozzum Virtue At Chatmoss, excelled in the Puppy Walk at matchnight coming overall 2nd to a beautiful Akita bitch after winning the first 2 match nights of the year.  Soon to be in the ring and we`re looking forward to campaigning her this year.

Archie...`Brave Rebellion at Chatmoss` has qualified for Crufts 2011.  At Boston Canine Society Championship Show 2011 he was placed 3rd in Junior Dog class after just passing 12 months of age and leaving the puppy class behind....now in with older more mature dogs.

We`re all looking forward to the 2010 campaign with Lily...`Foxthorn Texas Star at Chatmoss` taking her place in the Puppy classes and Ruby..`Rhozzum Virtue at Chatmoss`, our new pup joining in as soon as she can.

Oh dear, Lily didn`t want to play today and it showed....she got binned out of the line up under Mr Archibald.  Went home and perked up with a long walk in the woods.  (women)

Archie was placed 2nd and 3rd, again under Mr Archibald.  Not the best of venues by any stretch of the imagination and the flooring was extremely poor.  No wonder the place is being knocked down soon.

Archie had a bad day today...although he showed well and behaved himself he only got a reserve and a vhc under Mrs E Wright...no doubt he`ll do better on another day....each judge has there own type and preference and we respect that.

Lily however had a good day with a second place in Minor Puppy Bitch behind a beautiful bitch which turned out to be the best puppy in show.....Lily also got second in Special Beginners.

LILY...`FOXTHORN TEXAS STAR AT CHATMOSS`....takes RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN SHOW under Liz Dunhill at Leigh Canine Society.  After winning BEST PUPPY IN BREED under Nicola Spencer then taking TERRIER PUPPY GROUP 1st under Karen Rymmer, Lily went into the challenge after a long day with many quality puppies in contention.  Ms Dunhill commented on how beautiful she thinks Lily is and what good conformation she has.

ARCHIE...`BRAVE REBELLION AT CHATMOSS`.... takes BEST OF BREED under Nicola Spencer and TERRIER GROUP 2nd under Karen Rymmer at Leigh Canine Society.
